#TeamAero stars dominate JBA Masters

Proteas ace Jason Evans put #TeamAero on top of the podium by edging Morningside Country Club teammate Gerry Baker to the prestigious JBA Men’s Masters title.

It’s been quite the season for the pair, who have battled it out in numerous top finals. On this occasion, the current Proteas ace got the job done winning 21-16.

Baker was rightfully named JBA Men’s Player of the Year following a season to remember which included gold in the SA National Championshio Men’s Pairs plus the win at the SA Mixed Pairs championship.

And that’s far from where the winning stopped as Team Aero superstar Jax Van Rensburg proved to be far too strong in the JBA Women’s Masters field. Fresh off of her duty at the African States, Jax needed to be on top form to win the tournament.

Ultimately, she edged Esme Murphy 21-19 to claim the big win.

Emma Murphy was named the JBA Women’s Player of the Year after a string of consistent showings at the major events.
