Aero offers a full range of standard and half sizes, and as size is crucial for a good delivery and perfect grassing, we have spent a lot of time making bowls that will give you the best performance, irrespective of the size that fits your game.

A key differentiator is the Aero gurantee … every Aero set of the same model is the same.  All four bowls are matched with regards to line and weight (within a tolerance of 3 grams) and we can guarantee all bowls in your set are dead accurate or your money back. The same line every time is fundamental to playing successful bowls and is the promise of our True Trajectory feature of every set.

About the Z Scoop grip

Our Registered Design Z Scoop grip is much more than just another grip. Position one, two or three fingers on the grip and your bowl is automatically positioned for accurate grassing.… you will have a perfect nonslip grip made by a high precision milling machine (not made by drill bits as all the other manufactures use).

THE Z SCOOP is our most popular grip and is the most comfortable, making the bowl feel smaller when it in fact is not. Total Control is obtained with this registered designed grip.

We place our grips where bowlers expect them to be because before we designed them we had bowlers hold the models and then we made the grip, perfect  in a style that suits you best; Zig Zag, Aero Dentations and of course Plain Rings, meaning no grips. For the perfect and most natural of deliveries nothing compares with an Aero in the hand, look at who uses Aero and the competitions they win. Playing in South Africa: Groove or Quantum

Groove

A very versatile model and the most popular amongst bowlers in the above countries. Eminently suitable for both Indoor and Outdoor greens running 10 seconds or more. Suitable for all positions whether it be in Pairs, Triples, Fours or Singles. The Groove was Alex Marshall’s first choice.

Available in all sizes, half sizes and grips including the Z Scoop our most popular grip that assists in aligning the bowl along your chosen grass line.

Quantum

This model is specially designed for surfaces outside of Australia. We have found that surfaces have many variations and that’s why Aero engineered a bias to cope with these variations. The Quantum with an even midpoint turn and NO hook makes accurate bowling very much more easier. Hold, when playing an upshot is something designed into every Aero Bowl and using a Quantum will give bowlers the advantage we all look for.

  • Zig Zag

    A non intrusive grip made by the sophisticated milling capability of our ASHER machine.

    The Zig Zag gives an excellent grip without biting into ones fingers. In wet weather, one will note how this cleverly-designed grip assists in holding the bowl.

Sizes & Weights

All AeroBOWLS of the same model, regardless of size, perform exactly the same. Gone are the days when a bowler felt that going down a size was a disadvantage. The AeroBOWLS precision manufacturing processes allow us to make bowls that perform the same, irrespective of size. Isn’t this a welcome change from the past? And even better, AeroBOWLS make half sizes too, a big win for bowlers worldwide.

We use Melamine to make our bowls, and we can guarantee you that all four bowls in each set will vary by no more than 3 grams between them.

And the shape of an Aero bowl differs from other brands too. In fact, in windy conditions, our bowls will turn into the wind, and take less grass when rolling with the wind.

Our logos are mainly modern designs but we do engrave some of the old classics from time to time.

Please browse through the logo categories listed below, but please remember, we can engrave virtually anything on your bowl, so if none of these grab your attention, please email us a picture or your own design and we’ll send you back a proof of what your bowl will look like.

There are more than 10 paintwork colours for your logos on your bowls. When ordering your AeroBOWLS, you can stipulate either: White, Black, Dark Blue, Light Blue, Dark Green, Light Green, Lime Green, Purple, Orange, Cream, Yellow and Pink.If you do not stipulate your choice of paintwork colour, then a suitable colour will be chosen by our experienced painters.
