Esme Kruger joins #TeamAERO

Esme Kruger is the latest star player to sign up to trust the same line every time with AERO bowls.

Kruger is a decorated performer at the very highest level forming an integral part of the Proteas side that has won back to back silver medals at the Commonwealth Games. Of course, the skip is current AERO ace Anneke Scheepers, who recently tied the knot.

Kruger’s class on and off the greens makes her partnership with AERO bowls one a long-time coming.

Effortless and possessing all the shots, Kruger is delighted to have made the change.

“Just look around the world, the best of the best are playing AERO bowls and now I’m fortunate enough to be apart of this great team,” says Kruger.

Kruger, the 2021 BGN Singles gold medallist, is well accustomed to being on the winner’s podium with two medals (silver and bronze) in the recent editions of the BSA Masters in her trophy cabinet just a snippet of her achievements.

Gerry Baker couldn’t hold back his smile following the confirmation of Kruger’s decision to join TEAM AERO.

“For us at TEAM AERO, we look for the best players and best people to promote our sport. And of course, Esme fits the requirements perfectly. If you look at the success of AERO players recently, it’s been quite a formidable showing. Adding a current Protea to the mix and it’s hard to see the momentum slowly down any time soon.

“We wish Esme all the best with her new bowls and of course, we are keen to see the results flow in.”

Baker concluded with some exciting news for TEAM AERO in South Africa.

“I don’t like to spoil the surprises but let’s just say there are a good few top, top quality players ready to join Esme in making the move to playing AERO bowls in 2024.”
